Another Senior Shoot - This Time a Boy!

Here are a couple of my faves from another senior shoot I did. After 3 senior girl shoots, I was excited to have a senior boy ask me to do his pictures! I met them at their house and really enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountains and valley that they have. A big thank you to both him and his mom for allowing me to document this special time in his life.

Off to Kindergarten!

Well - it has finally happened. Our little boy started Kindergarten! It doesn't seem like it has been 5 1/2 years since he was born! He was ready, though, and has been very excited about his teacher (whom we all really like) and all the new friends he is going to make. Today was his first full day and he hugged Colin and I and ran off to play, leaving me fighting back tears. I really wanted to remember this special time, so besides the regular first day of school pictures, I took him out for some shoots in some of his new school clothes. It was a great way to spend some mother/son time, although if you asked him, I could have taken a few less pictures! Anyway, as usual, here are 6 of my favorites. Another Fun Senior Shoot!

I had another Senior Shoot last night, again with a girl I know through 4-H. She has the best personality, so I knew it would be a great session! It was cloudy and we thought we might get rained out, but it all turned out fine. I would like to thank her for being a good sport and letting me try out a few new locations to do pictures!!
