Sunflowers in Mimbres

Been busy with other things lately, and while I have quite a few shoots coming up, I don't have one to post right now. So, instead of "people portraits," I decided to post some pictures I took of the beautiful sunflowers that are covering the Mimbres Valley. Colin and I took the kids there to camp and visit my parents a couple of weeks ago and there were more sunflowers than I had ever seen up there. They also seemed a lot bigger and fuller than in previous years. Enjoy!

I also wanted to give everyone a heads up (mainly those with small children) that I will be having a Fall/Halloween Portrait Open House on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at my house. You will be able to sign up for a time for a mini-shoot of your child/children dressed in their Halloween costumes on a Fall background. Each family will get one free 5X7, with no obligation to buy.
