Sneak Peek of Baby H

Baby H is 3 months! I have done his 1 month and 2 month pics, and Mom called me to do his 3 month shots. I even went shopping and found a beanbag to give us something new to work with. He really enjoyed the beanbag and Mom and Dad are even considering buying one for the house now!!

He hasn't been feeling quite up to par lately, but we did get some great smiles. I had so many I wanted to post, but due to lack of time, I am going to have to just post 4 for now. Should have them posted on my website by Sunday at the latest. Enjoy the pics of this handsome little guy!

Sneak Peek for "M" and "Baby D"

What a serious little guy! He didn't cry or fuss at all, but he kept a pretty serious look on his face for a lot of the session. It was pretty cute. This is Baby D, the son of a friend, and this is the 3rd time I have been blessed to capture his precious little face! He is already 6 months old and I can't believe it!

Between his Mama singing the Peanut Butter song and "Rubber Ducky" and me making beeping sounds for him, we did get some smiles, too! I also had Cady with me and he would watch her so we had her move towards me every once in a while and his little eyes and head would turn to follow her.

I told his Mama that I would post 3-5 pics for a Sneak Peek, but I couldn't narrow my faves down any fewer than 7!! This first one is my most favorite out of all of them, though: Love this next serious one, too. He crossed his little hands like that all by himself. He was watching Cady in this one.
LOVE how he bites his lip!! He would do that in his 4-month session, too! I think it is absolutely adorable!!
He liked standing on Mama's boots!
Here he is responding to my beeping sounds. He really thought that was funny!
We tried the rocking horse a couple of different times and when it comes to ridin' horses, he takes it pretty seriously! I did manage to get some good shots, though, and this was my favorite horse one. It is his horse, but on a side note, if any of you reading this knows of anyone getting rid of old rocking horses, old chairs (adult and kid-sized), old ride-on toys (like John Deere tractors and such), please let me know!! I am always on the look-out for different things to use.
Here he is peeking at me over Mama's shoulder. He knew we were pretty much done by this point and decided to tease me with some little smiles.
Thanks, "M", for once again asking me to capture these special moments of your precious little cowboy! It was a lot of fun as usual. Should have all the photos edited and ready to post by this evening!!

More Cuties!

I'm still here! Not real great at keeping up with this blog, am I? I've got quite a few shoots lined up in the next few weeks, so I thought I better catch up while I can!

Here are a couple from Baby H's two month shoot and we are actually doing his three month pics tomorrow, which I am looking forward to. It is so much fun to have him and Baby D as regulars!!

Here are two sweet sisters who are the daughters of one of my best friends. I had so much fun with them, and they seemed to enjoy having pictures done.

This one looks like it should be in a Back to School catalog for OshKosh! This little one loves to pose and does it well!
Here is a familiar face to most of you. My son! He just started 1st grade and I take him out every year before school to have new pictures done in his back to school clothes. We had a lot of fun and tried out a couple of new spots.

I am currently booking senior sessions! There is a special right now, too - no sitting fee if you book a senior shoot before September 12th! Contact me soon for an appointment.
I will start posting "Sneak Peaks" again like I used to, so be watching for those starting this week with two baby shoots.

Latest Shoots

Well, we are back from vacation and what a great one it was!! It was a nice break, but I am ready to get back to taking some pictures! I actually have had one shoot since I have been back and will post pictures very soon, but wanted to post a couple that I have done in the last few weeks. The first one is an engagement session that I did with my sister-in-law and her fiancee while in California (see - I did some work that week). They are getting married in November and I wish them all the best. These are just a few of my favorites and they were taken around the hotel we all stayed at in Anaheim - we all loved how lush and beautifully landscaped it was there.

They make such a gorgeous couple, don't they? Thank you guys for allowing me to capture this extra-special moment in your lives. Look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!!

These next photos are ones I did of our niece from Washington while she was here in NM visiting. Since we don't see her but maybe once every couple of years (although I hope that changes now), I don't have a lot of pictures of her and was excited to take her. We went to one of my favorite locations and she was a great model. It really seemed like she was enjoying herself, too, which shows in the pictures. She sat with me that night as I edited them, and was really pleased with all of them, which says a lot coming from an 11 year old girl!! Here are a few of my favorites, although I liked them all, too! I know - she is our niece so I am a little biased!!

Coming up this week, I have been asked to take pictures of the 4-H and FFA members at the local county fair, with their prize-winning horses, dairy cows, steers, goats, pigs and sheep! I remember having my own picture taken with my pigs and sheep when I was growing up and am excited to be on the other side of the camera! Should be quite the experience!!
I am also gearing up for some senior shoots in the near future. Please call soon to book - special discount if you book before the end of August!!

An Engagement!

Hello! Yes - I am finally updating this blog after a few months of nothing! I am sorry I haven't been keeping up on it, but I have been busy both with my business and with family stuff. I have lots of photos I want to share with you all, though, so bare with me!
I am going to do them in groups and the first was a session I did for my cousin and her fiancee for their engagement. I really had fun on this shoot! For one, I hadn't seen my cousin in quite a while and I really was excited that she called and asked me to capture this exciting time in their lives. Second, you could really tell they were in love! They were so cute sneaking kisses here and there and giggling! I am very happy for them and wish them nothing but the best!

Sports

After shooting 3 different soccer teams (ours twice) last season, I got to try my hand at t-ball pictures early this summer. I really enjoyed it! I, of course, did our team, the Mariners, and here are 3 pictures showing each of the different poses I used:
I was also asked by a college-friend of ours, who was coaching a different team to do their pictures as well. Here is a fun team picture I did - it was definitely the most popular!

Families

In June, I helped my mom throw a 35th Anniversary Party for my grandparents. Since it is such a big family and most everyone was there, I was asked to do some family pictures. This one of my Aunt and Uncle with their grandbaby was by far my favorite!!

also was asked by some friends from church to do a family picture with their new baby girl. It must have been too early for her because we couldn't get any smiles (one at the very end) but she sure is a pretty little girl! They are a beautiful family, huh? They want some individual pictures of her too, and I look forward to doing those sometime in the future.
